Poetry Links

Jupiter - Caroline Johnson's writing blog: http://jupiter-caroline.blogspot.com/

Chicago Poetry Press / Letter EX E-Zine - C.J. Laity's extremely comprehensive site of all things poetry in Chicago: http://chicagopoetry.com/

Lightverse.com - you can find over 1,700 of my poems here, and thousands of others from many poets. Go to Poetry Library/Author Lookup and use the drop-down to find my name. You can also post your own poetry after creating a free account. *UPDATE 2021: Lightverse has been down for about 5 years now (Circa 2021). I have a backup copy of the site provided by the webmaster, but it's no longer online. The link below will take you to a YouTube video where I discuss the site's significance.* http://www.lightverse.com

Puddin' Head Press - Dave Gecic's small poetry press out of Chicago. Dave does actual print poetry chapbooks, and beautifully, I might add, with quite a few local poets' titles available: http://puddinheadpress.com/

Poetic Constellations - Constellations Gateway - A Yuku.com poetry board /forum where I tend to read and post a lot of very fine poetry. The writing here is outstanding, with quite a few high-caliber poets and a lot of activity. You'll need to have or create a Yuku.com profile to post, but you can read without one: http://poeticconstellations.yuku.com/forums/4

*Spell Book*

*Spell Book* is my oldest blog - and has become the most comprehensive archive of my poetry on the web. These days, I'm just using it to recover my poetry from around the web and archive it after the demise of Lightverse.com and the general decline of poetry boards around the web. I'm recovering my poetry from several Ghost Boards that I used to post at. Now full of tumble weeds and beautiful poetry, and in some cases, the ghosts of poets passed away, these boards were once full of poetic life. I'm hoping they remain functional for a long, long time, as this is a huge project. Meanwhile, *Spell Book* is growing daily.
